Hello, my name is Sarah, the Founder and Owner of Sarah's Childcare. I'am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Langley park, County Durham. I provide a warming & welcoming 'home from home' environment for your little ones, enabling lots of indoor play and activities and also outside activities such as trips to the park, softplay, days out, etc. I'm fully insured, hold a valid first aid certificate, Ofsted certificate and drive a car with the appropriate safety equipment to carry your children.

The early years foundation stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of your child from birth to 5 years old. Here at Sarah's Childcare we believe that children learn best through play, an EYFS aligned structured curriculum is created for each child when they join us. Your little ones progress is monitored and, where needed, extra support provided to help each child make the most of their potential.
A childminder providing childcare for children in the childminder's own home for more than two hours a day must be registered with Ofsted. All staff at Sarah's Childcare are Ofsted registered. This ensures that the quality of care we provide you little ones is independently audited on a reglaur basis.
All registered childminders in England must take the Paediatric First 12 Hour Qualification before being able to look after children. All staff at Sarah's Childcare hold this certification. Certificate holders are qualified to deal with all the accidents, illnesses, and the non-emergency situations that can arise in an early years setting.
